Looking back, we did an awful lot in Catalina before we left on the morning of Day 3. We took a glass bottom boat ride and saw many fish. Mom and I walked around at least 75% of the whole town and admired our favorite houses, the bell tower (which Mrs. Wrigley installed to make sure the servants were never late), and the Zane Grey Pueblo (the house of the author of many westerns, now a residence/hotel). We took the trolley to the botanical gardens (aka cactus gardens) and the Wrigley memorial covered in tile made on the island. Mom and I played minigolf, and we all went to the museum of the island in the bottom floor of the casino. I need another vacation just thinking about all of that!
