After seeing the brooch-as-a-necklace for a 3rd time (here's the 1st and 2nd), I decided there must be something to this style. Three's a trend, right? So I tried it out myself. I kind of liked how quirky it looks. My boyfriend thought I was very "buttoned up," but he didn't hate it (as I was expecting he might). I'm heading to a birthday celebration in the uber-hipster Silverlake neighborhood this weekend. It could be the perfect time to rock the brooch-as-necklace in public!
