Oscar Nominated Costumes on Exhibit at FIDM

Images from IMDB. (True Grit, Burlesque, and The King's Speech)

Whether you are a movie lover or fashion lover or both, FIDM just opened the exhibit for you. It is their 19th Annual Art of Motion Pictures Costume Design exhibit. There will be costumes on display from Oscar nominees. Plus, there will probably be costumes from some other random movies thrown in too. The exhibit started on Feb. 8th and will go through Apr. 22, so you have plenty of time to enjoy it. I am going to make the time to get there before the Oscars, though, so I know who I want to root for in the best costumes category!

PS: Be sure to stop by the museum store before or after. Some of their merchandise is made by students or grads who are incredibly talented. Even if you don't buy anything, it is great to look at. You'll see one of a kind accessories that are really set apart from mainstream retail.

PPS: The museum has a blog that I kind of love. If you are in the mood to take a break from work and look at something pretty for a moment, I highly recommend checking it out.
