Last night on my way to the LA Times pop up exhibit, I walked past MOCA. This is probably the millionth time I've walked past MOCA. But I had no immediate homework to get back to, so for the first time, I really stopped to look at the sculpture out front. (I know this is not technically architecture as the post title indicates, but I'm lumping outdoor art into this category.) From far away, the sculptures appears to be a blob of metal. But up close, it was a lot more interesting. So many interconnected parts and different textures, it's the kind of thing I could get lost looking at.
