Downtown Los Angeles Architechture - Angels Flight

I am so glad there are people out there who are willing to dedicate time and money to save things like Angels Flight. It is a piece from a lost era. It's a reminder of our history and a marker against which the change in Los Angeles can be judged. It's also nice to know as the city progresses with new roads and technology and development, its citizens still hold onto some of their favorite pieces of the past, not because they needed them, but just because they love them.

PS: Angels Flight through the decades. 1898, before it was added. 1910, in its old location. 1960, just before it was dismantled and move. (Pictures from USC.)
